About the project

Purpose of the project

This virtual walk was created to introduce the work of Stanisław Strzyżyński (1923–2015) — a sculptor whose pieces have shaped the landscape of Nałęczów for decades — to residents and visitors alike, whether they are planning a visit in advance or already standing next to a particular sculpture. We place special weight on making the walk genuinely accessible to older audiences — hence the large text, high contrast, and simple navigation on every page.

Who is behind this project

The project is created in collaboration with the Sztuka i Dom Foundation and Zbigniew Strzyżyński — the artist's son, a sculptor himself, and co-creator of the Bolesław Prus Bench — who narrates the recordings accompanying the walk, telling the story of his father and his work.
